This is definitely the best mapping application Ive ever seen for iPhone and iPad. Way more detailed maps and much more accurate than maps like Googles. This app is a must for anyone who wants accurate maps with the best clarity possible.

There is no search feature in the app ?!
Click on a placemark and Maps offers you an immediate street view of the location. Very slick! The app would rate one more star if the placemarks were searchable.
It would be better if you could add new roads or get it to follow your location and save your path lik a road
Great app For I Pad and other I devices load on both for one price simple to use Simply go to a map area zoom in the level of detail required ,scroll around, all area you look at will be downloaded to your device for use any time later connection wont be needed
How could you even get a good review on this??
My dad is coming out with search in a couple of months, so dont panic!
The years updating tiles is good deal I like how it shows new built or being built roads better than my 20$ Mapbook thanks eh
With latest IOS 6 I find the map crashing a lot more while I am trying to download. Prior to the update Mapster was working fine. We own 2 IPhone 4S and and 2 iPads and all 4 are having the same issue. Hopefully a bug fix will happen soon.
We use this everywhere and are always amazed by the level of detail - even in the most remote locations! A must have for frequent travellers. Definitely was worth paying for the upgrade, it has been well used. Beats paying to update our GPS.
After trying several map apps this one is by far the best with detail that simply does exist on other map apps. Check out a few marinas and you will find that they are not on most maps.
Love it. Use it all the time. So efficient and simple...its all I need to go deep into the bush, or waaaay out of cell range and still have an exceptional reference to my location. Cheers from Yukon, Canada(bush country)!!
Id like to see a street view and a 3d aspect on buildings I also think that you should team up with Google maps to get the details
I like Mapster. Its good for a free app, recently upped the DL limit, the maps are ON my phone, and it works on my old iPhone. Im happy with it.
I really like this app seems to work well on the iPhone 3GS.
It is free, however...I found this info inside the app. "With a free subscription (available by default), you can use Mapster without charge. However, you are limited to downloading 200 tiles per day on an iPhone or iPod, or 500 tiles per day on an iPad. If you try to zoom in on an area that you havent downloaded tiles for but you have reached your daily limit, it will just appear blurry. After midnight, you will have another 200 or 500 free tiles that you can download."
Where are these tiles I downloaded? You should mention that in the manual.
The maps arent inaccurate, theyre flat WRONG! As I zoom in about my neighborhood, the streets suddenly shift to a totally wrong layout showing roads and intersections that dont even exist!! Actually, they may have been developmental proposals 15 years ago. The app says I get to download 200 tiles a day; I downloaded 30 and was told that was my limit for the day. BOOO! Crapp App
Quite good, really, for land, but sadly lacking in labels for bodies of water.
I spend lots of time in the back-country where an offline map is a must. This has been a fair solution. Here are my complaints/suggestions for improvements. -According to the listed number of downloads, youre stopped randomly, often long before the stated daily limit. -Marine areas are lacking -my experience being on Lk Superior and along the MN/Canadian border. -Canadian lakes seem to be missing entirely -or theyre outlined in black but not blue.
